Manchester United has conceeded 81 goals, being the highest total number in the club's history since 1976-1977.

Erik Ten Hag's side have been experiencing the opposite of a Midas touch, as they have lost 13 games in a single Premier League season.

The club was trashed a whooping 4 goals to nothing, by Crystal Palace and a cumulative 5 to nothing defeat, home and away.

Erik Ten Hag points out the reason for their losses. He said "There are reasons, everyone has seen our backline... but we have to deal with it".

"We should have kept fighting like the fans did". He said.

He goes on to say, he is the perfect man for the job, to take the team back on it's feet. 

"Absolutely, I am the right manager to turn things around".

"If the right players are available then we have a good squad. But when we miss almost our entire backline then we have problems". He said.

As the team keeps battling losses and injuries, they still remain 8th on the table having played 35 games and secured 54 points tie with Chelsea.
