Governor Dapo Abiodun stated on his verified Facebook page "Today, on Workers’ Day, we recognise and celebrate the unwavering dedication of our workforce in Ogun State, whose collaborative efforts have propelled our shared vision of progress. Despite economic challenges, our commitment to supporting our workers remains steadfast. "
He added; "Through collaborative efforts with the Federal Government and the intervention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we’ve implemented various welfare packages to alleviate the impact of these challenges. Our administration prioritises the welfare of civil servants, evident in measures such as remitting backlog deductions and ensuring timely pension payments."
