Some few minutes ago, reports emerged on a protest that has been reported in Nairobi county just a week after Gen Z protests in various parts of the country.
As reported by the Citizen TV, health workers under KMPDU are currently holding their protests in the city. Reports says that these health workers who suspended their strike few weeks ago are currently heading to Health ministry in Upper Hill. The leader of these protests is the KMPDU secretary general, Dr Attelah.
Attelah who has since listed the demands by KMPDU had clarified some few hours ago that they have not suspended their protests. According to Attelah, the KMPDU social media handles had been hacked at a time when protests suspension notice was issued. “Reports circulating to the effect that #OccupyMoH has been suspended, is false. The union handle has been compromised and we are trying our best to regain control and clean it,” he said.
