William Ruto addressed a lot of issues and revealed what led him to reject the Finance Bill 2024 during an interview with a Kenyan journalist.
During the interview, Ruto was unexpectedly caught in a lie he made a few years ago about transforming the Kenyan economy and stopping extrajudicial killings witnessed under the former government.
The videos were played in front of him, and the panel of journalists asked him to explain why he lied to Kenyans when he knew he was not going to deliver on his promises.
Ruto added that he is ready to have a discussion with young people and, if they decide to have the discussion on social media, he is ready to engage with them and listen carefully to their grievances.
Kenyans have been condemning Ruto and are tired of his administration, saying that the taxes being imposed are too heavy for them.
