Inko Tariah, a former Special Assistant to ex-Governor Nyesom Wike, has spoken about a statement Wike made.

In a video shared by Arise TV, Tariah said Wike declared in Port Harcourt that he would cause significant trouble for Governor Fubara. He said the goal of Fubara's detractors in Rivers State is to make the state ungovernable and eventually force Governor Fubara out of office.

Tariah also spoke about the embattled local government area (LGA) chairmen in Rivers State who refused to leave office after their tenure expired. He explained that the matter is currently in court and they are waiting for the Court of Appeal to give its ruling

In Tariah's words: "We heard when Wike the FCT minister said in Port Harcourt in Rivers State that they are going to give Governor Fubara enough trouble and so all you see is an Intifada. What they are doing is to crack that engine of Intifada to cause unrest"
