The chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Hope Uzodinma, expressed confidence in the achievements of the APC in Nigeria. He underlined the party's accomplishments and underscored its political advantages. Uzodinma made hints that the nation's present problems are a result of a worldwide economic crisis that is affecting other countries.
He implied that the party's record speaks for itself and that its accomplishments don't need to be overly emphasized by claiming that the APC has done well in Nigeria. Uzodinma contends that the persistent economic problems are a global problem that has to be addressed. As such, they are not exclusive to Nigeria.
The Sun claims that Uzodinma stated, “Which other party can provide or boast of such asset, politically speaking. So, we don’t need to over flog the horse, the truth of the matter is that the APC has done very well in Nigeria. What is happening currently, is a global economic problem."
