The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Edo state gubernatorial election, Monday Okpebholo has stated that the people of Edo state have not had any reason to celebrate since the exit of Senator Adams Oshiomhole as the executive Governor of the state.

The Punch reported that Senator Monday Okpebholo made this known after Thursday’s judgment by a Federal High Court in Abuja nullifying the primary election that produced Asue Ighodalo as the flag bearer of the PDP

Monday Okpebholo, in a statement released in Abuja said; "Since exit of Oshiomhole as governor, our people have not had any reason to celebrate. That will change in September when the people will take power back through the ballot."
