Lawyer and one of the chieftains of the Labour Party, LP, Kenneth Okonkwo has stated that even if the former governor of Kogi state gets 1000 ex-parte orders from the court, he will still be arraigned.

This statement was contained in a report that was published by SUNDAY SUN.

In a report titled, "EFCC vs Yahaya Bello and the abuse of ex-parte order", Okonkwo said 1000 ex-parte orders cannot stop the former governor of Kogi state from being arraigned in court. Okonkwo said Yahaya Bello will not be arraigned only if he flees Nigeria and becomes a fugitive.

He was quoted as saying that;

"If Yahaya likes, let him get a 1000 ex-parte orders from court, he will eventually be arraigned in court, except he flees out of Nigeria and officially becomes a fugitive, or except the EFCC changes its mind. Nobody is above the law, even if the person is the President of the United States of America, the most powerful citizen in the world".
