Political analyst Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has come out sending a warning shot to the Gen Z who have been protesting in the recent weeks against William Ruto's administration. The protests were precipitated by the finance bill which most Kenyans termed as punitive and oppressive on the incomes of many.
The protests were successful after the president withdrew the whole finance bill and made several announcement to cut the cost of operating the government. This has however not deterred Kenyans from hitting the streets as more protests are planned in the coming week with the most close one being occupying the ministry of health at Afya House scheduled for tomorrow.
Even as youths continue to protest against the government, Prof Mutahi Ngunyi has warned that Ruto is not someone who can be scared that easily. While saying that he has the blood of his ancestors who fought in the Nandi resistance against the colonials, Ngunyi asked them to give or give dialogue a chance.
