Renowned prophet and founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Babatunde Ayodele, recently shared his insights on the potential impact of the current head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), expressing optimism about the chairman's ability to combat corruption effectively.


In an interview with Punch, Primate Ayodele conveyed his confidence in the chairman's capacity to take significant actions in the fight against corruption, foreseeing positive outcomes for the nation. He emphasized the importance of the chairman's proactive measures in unveiling dishonest individuals concealed within the country.


"The present Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) chairman will do a lot," Primate Ayodele affirmed. "The moment he is doing what is right, we will see it. EFCC will bring out a lot of hidden people who are corrupt in the country."


While highlighting the chairman's potential impact, Primate Ayodele also addressed other pressing issues affecting Nigeria. He expressed concerns about the performance of the Nigerian women's national football team, the Super Falcons, cautioning that they may face challenges in their upcoming endeavors unless immediate action is taken to address underlying issues.


"Nigeria is going to France—I mean, the Super Falcons—but they won’t go far, and these are wonderful players. Unless they do something immediately to come up," he remarked.


Additionally, Primate Ayodele touched upon the looming threat of flooding and the persistent issue of herdsmen in the country. He warned that failure to address these issues promptly could have significant repercussions for Nigeria as a whole.
