Kylian Mbappé, the French football star recently transferred to Real Madrid, bid farewell to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the start of the month, leaving behind not only a legacy but also affecting his younger brother, Ethan Mbappé's prospects at the club.
According to a report by All Football, Ethan, aged 17, had been in talks to sign his first professional contract with PSG but faced uncertainty following Kylian's departure. Consequently, Ethan has also left PSG on a free transfer, mirroring his brother's path, and has now joined Lille OSC on a three-year deal.
During his tenure at PSG, Ethan made a modest impact, featuring in just five first-team appearances. His departure comes amidst the backdrop of Kylian's contentious exit, which reportedly soured relations and negotiations for Ethan's contract extension.
Kylian, meanwhile, has shifted his focus to representing France in Euro 2024, where he aims to contribute to his national team's bid for a semi-final spot. Despite his busy schedule, Kylian took a moment to celebrate his brother's achievement on social media.
