Amaewhule, Others: Maybe they intended to cross to APC; Have they done it properly – Wori-Wori

A Legal Practitioner, Wori Wori, has, during an interview on The Morning Brief, a Channels Television Programme, maintained that the fact that the pro-Wike Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly addressed their defection letters to Martins Amaewhule does not mean that their defection would be upheld; after he insisted that same letters were supposed to have been addressed to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for their defection to stand.

He added that the lawmakers did not follow due process.

The Legal Practitioner had said, "What is worth doing is worth doing well. Maybe, maybe they had intended, as expressed on the video that you just played, to go to, you know, crossover to the All Progressive Congress, but the question is, have they done it in line – was it done properly? Of course, the PDP has been quick to supply the answer to that question, to say no, by our record, we did not have any such letter suggesting or to the effect that Amaewhule and Co., who are our members, who still retain our membership card, have not left us. No wonder Honourable Justice Okogbule Gbasam will speak and I said earlier, I agree with him, why did plaintiff not present register of members of the All Progressive Congress, or membership card, where you will find the names of Amaewhule and Co."
