Victor Okumagba, Secretary, Warri-Urhobo National Congress was recently on Arise Television and he opened up about a lot of things.
During the Interview, Victor Okumagba revealed that for anybody to come up and say that the Itsekiris are the owners of Warri is erroneous.

"Let me explain the first one first, the issue of ownership of Warri, I think that's a very wrong impression given to the public. The issue of ownership of Warri has been laid to rest a long time ago. In the case of DO Idudu Vs Okumagba has put to rest the ownership of Warri. For anybody to come up and say that the Itsekiris are the owners of Warri is erroneous. It's very very erroneous and if you look at the judgement, I don't want to over hit the whole thing right now because what we are looking for right now is peace in Warri".
"Otherwise, Abatti you are a lawyer, you know what I'm talking about, the Okumagba Vs Idudu case is an authority in the Nigerian legal system today, you understand? It is that case that established the four ways to ascertain the ownership of land. Now if you are talking, that is the exact judgement we have in Warri", Victor Okumagba said.
