During an open interview with News Central TV, Chiedozie Alex Ogbonnia, who is the National Publicity Secretary of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, argued that the Federal Government should recognise Nnamdi Kanu's position as the voice of the Igbo youth in southeast Nigeria. To put an end to what he saw as injustices in the area, he demanded that the government do something about it.

He brought attention to the importance of fairness in Nigeria and the invaluable contributions of the Igbo people as its founding fathers.

He emphasised that political solutions should prioritise justice and fairness for all citizens and that we must acknowledge the Igbo people's ongoing contributions to the country's growth.

He said, "The political agreement we are looking at is where the Federal Government will understand that Nnamdi Kanu represents what is happening in the Southeast of Nigeria. He represents the agitation of the Igbo Youths of the Southeast. He represents how people are grieved by what is happening in Nigeria. When we are talking about political solutions, it is how to bring and end to this injustice. The political solutions we are talking about is there must be equity in Nigeria. Nigerians must remember that Igbos are the founding fathers of this country. And ever since then, we have been helping to develop this country."
