Norwich City has announced the signing of five teenagers of Nigerian descent ahead of the 2024-2025 season, bolstering their development squad with promising young talent, according to All Nigeria Soccer.

Victor Madu, Finlay Oligbo, and Oser Okpiabhele, all part of the Golden Eaglets team, have been promoted to the Norwich City U18 squad on a permanent basis. The midfielders made their debuts for the Canaries in the U18 Premier League in their final season as schoolboys and will aim to sign their first professional contracts after turning 17.

Harmony Okwumo, an 18-year-old German-Nigerian right-back, has joined the club on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic. Okwumo signed professional terms with Norwich City following a successful trial, showcasing his versatility in playing both right back and right wing-back positions during his four-year stint with Charlton Athletic.

Highly-rated striker Ken Aboh, 19, has committed to the club until June 30, 2027, with a club option for the 2027-2028 season. Aboh made his first-team debut for the Canaries during the 2023-2024 season, coming off the bench in a 5-0 victory over Rotherham United.

This move demonstrates Norwich City's investment in youth development and their efforts to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. The inclusion of these young Nigerian players brings a fresh wave of talent to the team, and their performances will be eagerly watched in the upcoming season.
