Producer Adanma Luke has made it clear that she did not abandon the grieving family of Late Actor, Jnr Pope in the wake of the horrific boat accident that killed the popular Movie Star and other crew members.
On April 24, Adanna shared a post on her Instagram account about the steps taken following the April 10 disaster.
She emphasized that she had stayed in touch with the victims' families ever since and had continued to give them financial support.
She wrote, "It has become necessary for me to make a statement because of the false allegations being made against me. Since the tragic loss of Junior Pope, Abigail, Precious, and other crew members, my team and I have been actively collaborating with the families to provide necessary funds as requested, from the grave diggers to the divers involved in the search of the dead bodies.”
"Additionally, my team and I arranged the departure of the ambulance from Asaba to the homes of Precious and Friday. As a result of this, my team and I will be sharing details and video proof of everything that has happened since this tragedy. In this time of a huge Loss and mourning for these families, the allegations that I have not taken any actions are complete lies. My team and I remain in contact with the police and members of the families who have lost their loved ones”. She added.
Since then, she has shared 12 receipts that proved the monetary gifts made to the families of the deceased.
