Kenyans on Twitter have conveyed an online meeting this night just few hours after president William Ruto's presser.According to the information, the Kenyans who are using the X space for their meeting and caption 'why is Ruto lying, no retreat no surrender' have conveyed to discuss the aftermath of the president's speech this evening.
President Ruto while addressing the public this evening at the statehouse Kenya confirmed the withdrawal of the controversial finance bill 2024 which has been causing chaos in the country.
Mr Ruto claimed that he came to the decision after listening to young Kenyans following the protest that have been going on in the country that led to loss of lives and destruction of properties.Kenyans on X have conveyed a meeting to discuss their next move, after the president listened to their cry and decided to withdraw the finance bill 2024.
Another agenda of the meeting is to discuss how they will raise funds to carter for the hospital bills of those who obtained injuries as well as the burial of those who lost their lives during the protest.This comes just few hours after the deputy president honorable Rigathi Gachagua have called the youths to cancel the protest that was planned for tomorrow.
