According to the report from the Sun, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Hon. Jubreel Abdulkareem draws a parallel between the skepticism directed towards President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership in the early days of his presidency and the initial distrust he faced when he became the governor of Lagos State.
He contends that despite this skepticism, Tinubu's administration has yielded positive results for Nigeria in the form of socioeconomic development and improved cost of living, which even those who oppose his political party cannot deny.
He said, "It was the same thing we said of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu when he was the governor of the state. Today, he is the President of Nigeria and everyone can see the results in terms of development. Things are really taking shape within a year he was sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Even beyond the expectations of those who say they are in the opposition parties. Because people never believed that things could begin to change positively for the better in Nigeria.
In the early days of his administration, people were wailing; “it is hard, the dollar is rising,” but today things are drastically taking shape. Without people being forced, the cost of living is coming down. Even the blind can see it except those who want to deny what God has done through the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. But there is no person who can deny it. It is undeniable because the evidence is on the ground for everyone to see. It’s not hidden."
