Only 3 players have created double-digit chances in the English Premier League (EPL) so far in March, 2024 as per Stathead. Interestingly, the man on top of the list is a Nigerian midfielder. Who are these top chance creators?
The Nigerian on top of the list is Alex Iwobi. This former Arsenal and Everton star has made 14 key passes for Fulham so far this month. He began with 3 chances when the Cottagers hosted Brighton on March, 2. His effort with and without the ball the ball helped the Londoners to grab a 3-0 win in the game.

In the next match day, the 27-year-old footballer created additional 7 chances against Wolves. He also scored once from 4 shots in the game. However, his stoppage time strike was not enough to rescue a point as the hosts secured a 2-1 win in the encounter. Iwobi added 4 more key passes to his name when his side hosted Tottenham on match day 29. This time Fulham ended the game with another 3-0 win.
The Super Eagles star is followed by the English duo of Lewis Cook and Dwight McNeil. These guys have created 10 chances each this month. Cook, who plays for Bournemouth, was credited with three key passes when his club visited Burnley on March 3. Interestingly, he was also involved in both goals as the Cherries went home with a 2-0 win. The Defensive midfielder created 6 and 3 chances against Sheffield United and Luton later in the month.
Unlike Iwobi and Cook, Mcneil has only played in two EPL matches so far this month. The Everton midfielder created 4 chances against West Ham on March 2 and added 6 more against Manchester United 7 days later. Interestingly, he also made goal attempts in both games but he wad unable to help the Toffees secure a point in either of the games.
