Italian transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, has dropped a hint that Super Eagles striker, Victor James Osimhen, is likely to move to England in the summer, with Chelsea being a potential destination, according to Soccernet.ng.
Osimhen, who has had a phenomenal season with Napoli, scoring 15 goals and providing three assists in 23 league games, has been linked to several top clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and Arsenal. However, Di Marzio suggests that the 25-year-old's preference is to play in England, with Chelsea and Arsenal being the two teams that could sign him.
"His preference is England," Di Marzio said on Sky Italia. "It's not that the possibility of playing in France excites him, having already played there with Lille. Playing with PSG is different, but he will wait for a possibility to play in England."
Di Marzio also revealed that Chelsea has offered €90m plus Romelu Lukaku in exchange for Osimhen, which could be a tempting offer for Napoli. However, Arsenal may struggle to compete financially, which could give Chelsea an edge in the transfer race.
