In the ongoing legal battle between Nigerian singer Davido and his former partner Sophia Momodu over the custody of their daughter Imade Adeleke, Sophia has filed a 102-paragraph affidavit in response to Davido's request for joint custody.
It can be recalled that Davido had earlier filed a lawsuit on April 17, at the Lagos State High Court, requesting joint custody or unrestricted access to Imade. He claimed that despite their past relationship ending years ago, they had agreed to co-parent Imade, but Sophia had not adhered to this arrangement.
In a recent development made available to the public by Sahara Reporters, Sophia Momodu has denied the accusations of denying Davido access to their daughter. She claimed that Davido had never made any attempts to see Imade and had abandoned her due to her refusal to engage in sexual relationship with him.
The statement from Sophia has however come under heavy criticism as fans took to their social media handle to voice their displeasure over her comments.
