Honorable Amobi Ogah, the member representing the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Constituency, has spoken about a proposed bill to create Etiti State in southeast region.
Speaking in a video shared by Channels TV, Ogah stated that if Etiti State is created, it would have nearly 18 or 20 local government areas. He said the southeast should have six states just like other regions in Nigeria. He said when the discussion moves to creating seven states, then they can consider including Igbos in Delta who want their own Anioma State
In Amobi Ogah's words: "Let nobody come and distract us in the name of we are Igbos in Delta State, Rivers State. It is not what we are talking about. Give the southeast what is due for them, balance the southeast. Give southeast 6 states like other zones. We are not even talking about 7 states".
