Ajayi’s Choice Can win Ondo For PDP – Atiku

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated the flag bearer of the party in the forthcoming Ondo State governorship election, Agboola Ajayi, saying that his emergence as the party candidate can win the state for the main opposition party in the forthcoming governorship election.
In a statement by his media adviser, Paul Ibe, on Saturday, the former vice president affirmed that his selection is a wise decision of the PDP to win the election and add Ondo to the states controlled by the PDP.

Anambra Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye, has retired from the force after 35 years of service.
He said it was time to move into full time business to challenge the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote.
He bowed out of the Police Force Saturday at the Dr Alex Ekwueme square where friends, colleagues, Anambra State Government and associates gathered to wish him well in future endeavours
Ministry Denies Relief Funds, General Recruitment

The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has denied giving out N15,000 as an Instant Relief Fund to the public as reported by an online media outlet.
Its Director of Information, Patricia Deworitshe in a terse statement on Saturday, warned the public not to be deceived by the publication as the Ministry has no plan for the disbursement of such funds.
The Ministry also denied the commencement of general recruitment into its hospitals, warning the public not to be deceived by online scammers.
Orbih Rejects PDP Gov Campaign Council Membership

The National Vice Chairman, South-South of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dan Orbih, who is the immediate Edo Chairman of the party, has rejected PDP’s governorship campaign council’s membership in Edo.
Orbih, one of the allies of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike, stated that he was not consulted before he was included in the governorship campaign council’s list.
The leader of anti-Obaseki’s Legacy Coalition in the party declared that he would not have anything to do with the over 200-member Edo PDP governorship campaign council.
