Arsenal are actively seeking to sell one of their highly rated attackers this summer with Mikel Arteta monitoring potential recruits at Euro 2024 to strengthen his squad. The Spaniard is also deciding which players to offload.
Mika Biereth, a promising 21-year-old forward, spent the latter half of last season on loan at SK Sturm Graz. During his time with the Austrian champions and impressed with nine goals and four assists in 22 appearances.
His performance has sparked interest from Sturm Graz, with club director Andreas Schicker confirming their desire to re-sign him.
Mika is in the last year of his contract, and the club wants to sell him,” Schicker told Kronen Zeitung. “Now we have to find a solution with Arsenal.”
The forward is reportedly nearing a return to Sturm Graz. The Austrian club, impressed by Biereth’s scoring prowess, is eager to keep the striker, and negotiations for a new loan deal are now well advanced.
