According to a report by Al Jazeera, Palestinian detainees recently released from Israeli custody were targeted and killed by Israeli airstrikes shortly after their release, according to survivor testimonies. The attack, which took place in Khan Younis, Gaza, left at least seven prisoners dead and several others injured.

Farid Sobh, one of the survivors, recounted the horrific ordeal in a video testimony verified by Al Jazeera's fact-checking agency Sanad. Sobh stated that he was detained alongside approximately 15 other Palestinians for four days before being released. However, the torture and abuse did not end there.

"After that, we were released and as we started walking off on the asphalt, they threw grenades and fired a drone missile on us. Some [seven] of my men were killed. I ran for my life and miraculously survived," Sobh said from his hospital bed at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

Another survivor, Mahmoud Abu Taha, corroborated Sobh's account, describing the Israeli soldiers' actions as they released the prisoners.

"They kept torturing us. They even urinated on us. I was beaten, kicked and battered all over my body," Abu Taha recounted.

The attack has sparked outrage among the Palestinian community and international human rights organizations, who have condemned the Israeli forces' actions as a blatant violation of international law and human rights. The incident underscores the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, which has claimed thousands of lives on both sides.
