The Independent Policing Oversight Authority has cautioned members of the public from attacking and beating police officers in the country.
Taking to different social media platforms to speak on an incident where a police officer was beaten in Bondo before he was rushed to the Hospital where he was admitted , the Independent Policing Oversight Authority has stated that these suspects are going to be dealt with.
The Directorate of criminal investigations who also took to their different social media platforms to speak on this have confirmed the arrest of one of the suspects who attacked the police, others are still on the run.
This is happening at the same time when several politicians have called for the resignation of the inspector General of Police Japhet Koome.
According to the reports given by these politicians, the inspector General of Police Japhet Koome failed to protect Kenyans who were participating in the protest against the proposed 2024 finance bill.
