Wike Supporter Nwanosike Allegedly Disrupts PDP NEC Meeting in Abuja

Accprding to a report from Daily Post, Samuel Nwanosike, the chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area in Rivers State, purportedly led a group of suspected thugs to the ongoing National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja on Thursday. Nwanosike, known for his allegiance to former Rivers State Governor and current Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, attempted to forcefully enter the venue, causing chaos and potentially disrupting the proceedings.


The NEC meeting, among other agenda items, is expected to address possible sanctions against Wike for alleged anti-party activities.

Former Peoples Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in Kogi State, Dino Melaye, engaged in a heated exchange with the ex-governor of Benue State during the same meeting, adding to the drama within the party. The altercation underscores the deepening crisis within the PDP as tensions escalate between key figures.
