The APC In Ondo State Has Nothing To Offer The People. PDP Has Nothing To Offer The People–Mimiko

Abbas Mimiko, the Zenith Labour Party's (ZLP) candidate for governor of Ondo state, reportedly told The Nation News that he entered the race because "the state is in troubled times." Mimiko, the younger brother of the late governor Olusegun Mimiko, claimed it was the antiquated notion that the South would elect the state's future governor. According to Mimiko, he disagrees with the idea that the three senatorial districts—the south, north, and central—must alternate in who has power.

Mimiko said in an interview with our reporter that it was now the best candidate's chance to come out and improve the situation of people. Mimiko claimed that the All Progressives Congress was causing problems for the state at the time he entered the campaign, and he added that his plans and programs will alter the course of events. The younger Mimiko said that the people knew him as a leader who leads from the front, a man of integrity, and good looks when asked if he was running on the former governor's popularity.

He Said: “The APC in Ondo state has nothing to offer the people. PDP has nothing to offer the people. We come with a mantra of the seven K’s of prosperity and people are marching onto it.
