The Abia-born politician noted that the House is committed to an open legislature and data-driven decision-making as they continue their responsibility to ensure legislative actions.
Benjamin Okezie Kalu stated on his verified Facebook page; "Today, the House commenced the 2024 Legislative Open Week themed “Improving Inclusion Through Citizens Engagement” at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja. In line with the legislative agenda of the 10th House of Representatives to uphold transparency and public engagement, this week is dedicated to promoting a more inclusive and democratic legislative process that truly reflects our constituents’ needs and voices."
He added; "Delivering my welcome remarks, I highlighted the remarkable achievements of the 10th House, including the introduction of over 1,000 bills, among other functions, showcasing our commitment to legislative efficiency and effectiveness."
