Borno: The Arrested Suicide Bomber Said She Wants To Die And Go To Heaven — Ali Ndume

Borno State senator Ali Ndume has discussed the latest coordinated suicide bombings in Gwoza. The Sun claims that Senator Ndume commended the bravery of the Joint Task Force (JTF) during the attacks while introducing a motion in the Senate.

He described the JTF's valor in battling the invaders and stopping more destruction. Ndume recalled that the fourth suicide bomber was stopped by the JTF while she was about to set off her explosives during the incident.

Unfortunately, one of the soldiers—who was from southern Nigeria—was killed in the altercation. The bomber succeeded in setting her explosives off despite their best efforts, resulting in more damage. Ndume said that the military had successfully apprehended a fifth suicide bomber. He claimed that this person was captured before she could complete her lethal task.

Ndume claimed that the arrested bomber confessed during questioning that she was ready to die because she thought it would allow her to enter heaven. Ndume pointed out that this claim highlights the extreme degree of brainwashing and radicalization these people experience.

Ndume said, "The military arrested the fifth suicide bomber as she was about to detonate the explosive. She was taken into custody and interrogated by the military.

"Unfortunately, these people have been indoctrinated. The arrested suicide bomber said she wants to die and go to heaven. That’s how bad it has become."
