An experienced politician who is currently serving as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly for Constituency 02, Honourable Jubreel Abdulkareem, has played a major role in the political landscape of the local community, as reported by The Sun. During his time as executive chairman of Agege Local Government, which lasted from 2008 to 2014, Abdulkareem played a vital role in the development of the region's infrastructure. He feels that this development was the catalyst for the advancements that have taken place during his term.
Abdulkareem recently gave an interview in which he lauded the transformative leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He specifically praised President Tinubu's decision to abolish oil subsidies, which he termed the most difficult yet most effective choice that any Nigerian leader has ever made. In spite of the initial critiques and difficulties that the government encountered, he saw Tinubu as the person responsible for the beneficial changes that occurred in the socio-economic landscape of the nation.
In addition, Abdulkareem expressed his gratitude to the Right Honourable Mudashiru Obasa, who served as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly from the eighth to the tenth sessions. He emphasised that even sceptics now acknowledge the concrete gains in Nigeria's standard of living and economic stability under the current administration when he mentioned the tremendous progress that has been made in legislative governance under Obasa's leadership.
He said: Things are really taking shape within a year he was sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Even beyond the expectations of those who say they are in the opposition parties. Because people never believed that things can begin to change positively for the better in Nigeria. At the early days of his administration people were wailing; “it is hard, dollar is rising,” but today things are drastically taking shape. Without people being forced, cost of living is coming down. Even the blind can see it except those who want to deny what God has done through the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. But there is no person who can deny it. It is undeniable because the evidence is on ground for everyone to see. It’s not hidden.
