The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested a suspect for transporting ammunition to bandits in Katsina State.
The female suspect, identified as Aisha Abubakar, was caught transporting rounds of AK-47 ammunition concealed in a bag of fertilisers to an unknown individual in Katsina State.
The suspect, Aisha Abubakar, expressed her innocence in the incident, disclosing that she had never opened the item she was conveying, which was in respect to strict instructions from her boss.
In a video posted by Arise News, Aisha Abubakar said, "They usually pay me N50,000 per trip; when I was given the fertilisers, I never opened the sac to check its content. The second time the police caught me, they opened it and saw that it was fertiliser; the third time I was arrested, they opened the sac and saw that it was bullets.".
