Recall that Evans returned to Old Trafford last summer, and went on to make over 25 appearances for the club in all competitions last season. It was his second spell at the club having passed through the club's academy system before stepping into the first team. However, he left for West Brom in 2015 and then returned in 2023.

Epeajing to the club website, this is what Evans said regarding his new contract: “I am delighted to have extended my contract at Manchester United for another season."

“To play for this great club and feel the support from our incredible fans is always a privilege.

He further added that returning to the Old Trafford last season was an honour, whilst also acknowledging the fantastic team-mates and the club's excellent manager.

Evans was linked with a free transfer move away from the Manchester United, but having signed a new contract at the club, or exit speculations have cooled down.
