President William Ruto is reportedly at risk of losing grip of national assembly majority numbers, which he has been enjoying over a year and half years since he took over power in 2022 general elections.

This comes after the passage of unpopular finance bill 2024 that has seen most of his allies members of parliment, turning against their decision to vote in favor of that controversial bill and ask their constituents for forgiveness.

According to today's Taifa Leo Newspaper headline, President Ruto has a huge task now to regain firm hold and control over the national assembly members. Since most of them are now in fear of committing a political suicide by standing with the government's unpopular agendas.

Which are seeing them going against the will of their electorates. Since the passage of that unwanted punitive bill, some of the president's allied legislators are yet to reach at their constituencies in fear of the Gen Z's wrath. Some have openly asked for forgiveness confessing that they did something wrong by not listening to the people.
