A rising artist, Salau Qudus Emiola, popularly known as Chadreek, has made a heartfelt plea for assistance, alleging that fellow artist Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, is endangering his life.

Chadreek recounted a troubling incident involving a payment for a video shoot that turned violent in a video shared on X on Saturday, pleading for the public’s support.

He revealed that he had gathered a total of N1.5 million from several sources, including contributions from Wasso actor and Coker, for Portable to use for a video shoot.

Chadreek's efforts to accommodate Portable's demands were met with hostility as the situation escalated.

Portable allegedly became aggressive, cursing at Chadreek and questioning his worth, and subsequently resorting to physical violence, striking Chadreek. Chadreek recounted the incident with visible distress, recounting Portable's words, "Who knows you? Who is your glory?"

The situation quickly spiraled out of control as Portable disregarded Chadreek's attempts to negotiate, resulting in the confrontation becoming violent.

Chadreek further claimed that the physical assault had left him seriously hurt, adding that he had been taking local herbs to seek relief from his injuries, which had still not healed.

Portable has not yet responded to these allegations, which, if true, paint a disturbing picture of his behavior.

This incident is not the first time Portable has been involved in such a conflict, as in January he had previously shared videos on his Instagram showing men aggressively yelling at him, demanding he refund N3.5 million for a featured song.

In addition to sharing details of his alleged injuries, Portable also shared a medical report from Lagos Island General Hospital with the Ajah police station, outlining the extent of his injuries and seeking justice for the incident.
