Fans of top Spanish football team FC Barcelona have been greeted with some news concerning one of their squad members. The player in question is Mikayil Faye and latest reports say that Los Cules have confirmed that he will stay at the club this summer.

Mikayil Faye is set to stay at Barcelona this summer. The 19 year old Senegalese defender was with the club's reserve team in the 2023/2024 season and performed impressively well. Faye's future garnered a lot of speculations recently when he was heavily linked with a move to Top Portuguese side FC Porto but Barcelona will now keep the defender.

According to reports from media personality Gerard Romero, Barcelona have confirmed that they will keep Mikayil Faye this summer. The Catalan club were said to have held talks recently to sell the defender to Portuguese team FC Porto for €15 Million but negotiations fell off. Barcelona trust Faye's abilities and will integrate him into the first team under the tutelage of Coach Hansi Flick.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Mikayil Faye as he is set to stay on at Barcelona to continue his development.
