The governorship candidate of the Labour Party in the forthcoming Edo State elections, Olumide Akpata has reacted after he met former Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Pastor Ize-Iyamu.
Olumide Akpata stated on his verified Facebook page; "The first Sunday of every month, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), is reserved for special Thanksgiving and today, I joined members of the Benin-based RCCG Soul Winners Assembly, which is pastored by my dear cousin and big brother, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, for their own Thanksgiving Service."
He added; "As a devoted congregant of the RCCG for over 20 years, it is always a blessing to worship God Almighty with members of my church family. Today's Service was made even more special by the powerful message delivered virtually by our General Overseer, Pastor E. A Adeboye, which was titled "The Shield of Favour".
He stated further; "After the soul-lifting service, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, took me on a guided tour of the church premises and the impressive Redeemers Heritage School currently being built by the RCCG Soul Winners Assembly. I was truly inspired by this project and to see the positive impact this ministry is having on our community."
