There have been several reactions and comments from social media users after photos of Peter Obi with some bishops surfaced online.

Take a look at the photos he shared on his page.

Peter Obi joined the Bishop on the Niger, Rt. Revd Owen Nwokolo, and other Anglican bishops and lay faithful in Onitsha to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the consecration of Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther, a pioneering missionary whose contributions to the church and society across West Africa were immeasurable.

Bishop Ajayi Crowther was the only African elevated to the rank of bishop in the Church of England during the 19th century and was known for his passion for education and the betterment of society.

Peter Obi wrote this in a post on his verified Twitter page on Saturday.

In his words, "Today in Onitsha, I was delighted to join the Bishop on the Niger, the Rt Revd Owen Nwokolo, his brother bishops of the Anglican Communion from across the nation and other lay faithful at the celebration of the 160th Anniversary of the Consecration of a visionary missionary, Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther, whose contributions to the mission across West Africa remain immeasurable. The celebration continues to remind us of the tremendous contribution of this very revered and outstanding clergyman to the development of the church and society."
