Tony Okocha, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC in Rivers State, has shared his perspective on how the conflict between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, former Governor Nyesom Wike can be resolved

In a video recently shared by Arise TV, Okocha said when the dispute began, he personally pleaded with Wike to stop the fight and he even went as far as holding Wike's legs to show his sincerity and desire for peace. He said Governor Fubara should have taken a similar approach. He stated that if Fubara had gone to Wike and humbly asked for the conflict to end, it could have been resolved.

In Tony Okocha's words: "Fubara should have gone to his benefactor Wike to say you can't bring me here and throw me out like that or put me to shame, I am sorry"
