In extra time during the game between Portugal and Slovenia last night in Dusseldorf, Slovenian forward Benjamin Sesko found himself in a 1v1 situation with the goalkeeper, but he missed woefully as he saw it saved.
I believe that the Slovenian players have every right to be angry at Benjamin Sesko after his miss, and this is due to the fact that it would have sent them into the quarter finals as they was no goal untill that time.
The game was goalless after 90 minutes, and the opportunity came for Sesko 25 minutes into extra time after a mistake from Pepe, and that chance should have been converted easily by the young forward.
Slovenia went on to lose on penalties, and that is the main reason why I believe that the players should be angry at him as he would have easily sent them into the last eight of the tournament with that goal.
