On Saturday's 20th April, Arsenal travelled to Molineux Stadium to face off their hosts Wolves in a thrilling game which ended in a 2-1 victory in the favor of Arsenal.
At this game, Arsenal were seeking to bounce back to their winning ways following a 2-0 humiliation in the hands of Aston Villa in the previous EPL fixture at Emirates Stadium.
Trossard has been in and out as an Arsenal player since joining from Brighton in a £21m deal in January 2023. He scored the first goal that came in the 45th minute getting the scores to 1-0 before the first half.
After the game resumed for the second half, Arsenal were once again lucky as they added a second goal in the 95+5 minute.
This gave the a victory over Wolves making them earn 3 points therefore becoming number 1 at the EPL table defeating the former number one's City with 1 point.
" It was a good responce. We reacted in the right way. We deserved to win the game and got another clean sheet again. Obviously disappointed to loose against Bayern, small margins but we have five games to go and we are top again." These were Arteta's words after their win against Wolves reported by Sky Sports.
