Nicolas Jackson will not be part of any swap deals away from Chelsea this summer, despite rumors suggesting he was offered to Newcastle in exchange for Alexander Isak.

The forward has delivered some solid performances during his time at the club. However, there is a consensus that Chelsea needs to bolster their attack with another forward to compete for Champions League football again.

This has led to sensational media reports claiming that Jackson might leave the club this summer, potentially being used in a bid to acquire Alexander Isak from Newcastle.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Jackson is considered a crucial part of the project at Stamford Bridge. Jackson himself is reportedly happy with the Blues.

In a recent interview with Gambling Zone, William Gallas stated that Jackson will not be leaving the club this summer. He said, "Nicolas Jackson is clearly upset about Pochettino’s departure. Poch gave him the confidence and opportunity to have a very good first season in the Premier League.

"The new manager will need time to get even more out of Jackson, but he had a solid season, scoring nearly 15 goals. I believe he can improve further.

"He’s still young, and the next step is to reach the 20-goal mark, which I think is possible next season. He is still raw and missed some significant chances, especially in the FA Cup semi-final against Man City.

“But I believe he has all the tools to become a very good player in the future.”
