A Legal Practitioner and a legal Representative of the 381 delegates in Edo State, Barrister Andrew Enwanta has alleged that the Court recognized that the result sheet from Oredo local government where the Governor hails from lacked a signature in the Edo Congress election.

He stated that this irregularity was evident in the ward elections conducted across the multiple local governments, where only a single individual signed off on the results in some instances. He stated that the secretary of the primary who is the governor of Enugu was involved in countersigning the results that declared Asue's victory. While he criticized the integrity of the process, he questioned the plausibility of Peter Mbah overseeing elections in 172 wards across Edo State in a day.

He said in an interview with AIT, 'The results presented by the PDP was shady. And the court noted that. The result sheet of Oredo LG where the governor comes from was not signed. It was a ward election done in several local government and only one person in some instance signed in the results.

And the person who counter signed was the secretary of the primary, the governor of Enugu counter signed the results of the Congress that led to Asue's victory. It was not a case of a parallel Congress, it was a case of people who came out for election and somebody in his comfort zone started manufacturing this results. Because if the PDP rules says they must do this election ward by ward, how possible was it for Peter Mbah to be in 172 wards across Edo State? Even if he's a ghost, it's not possible.''
