A veteran journalist, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, has have given his take on the insecurities existing in the eastern region of Nigeria.

However, a group of politicians led by Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe have urged the president, Bola Tinubu, to effect the release of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, thereby citing various reasons.
In a video posted by TVC News, the Nigerian journalist, Kolade Otitoju, disclosed that Senator Abaribe had confirmed that the political activist, Kanu, had agreed to be released on certain conditions.
According to the video, "Abaribe told the press that Nnamdi Kanu has agreed to be conditionally released.".
