The demonstrations against President Ruto's government have continued despite the finance bill being dropped as the Gen Z say it's no longer about it but all against Ruto.

Kenyan police were seen deploying tear gas in different parts of the country where protests were being held in order to disperse the protesters.

In both city centres many businesses were closed and heavily guided by their owners.Demonstrators were seen to be taking part in areas like Nairobi,Mombasa,Kisumu and Nakuru among others.

Sources say since the protests against the finance bill 2024 began two weeks ago more than 30 people have been killed by security forces and some many more left injured.

President William Ruto dropped the proposed tax increases - but the demonstrations have gained momentum into calls for him to resign and anger over police brutality in the most serious crisis of his presidency where they were seen using life bullets.

The scale of protestors are smaller than last week's, but more violent scenes were witnessed in Mombasa, where cars were seen burning as protesters engaged with police in a fight using stones.

Other cause of the protests is said to be the involuntary disappearance of protestors who stood on the front line while protesting.President Ruto said that the arrests were all legit since the the people arrested were all first given a notice to surrender themselves to the police stations which they never did making the police to ho after them.

The president promised the people of Kenya a revitalisation of the cost of living which he still hasn't been seen doing but instead increased the taxes making it hard for the low earners to afford nearly everything.
