Bandits Strike Again in Kaduna, 73 Cows Carted Away

According to Business day news Bandits in Kaduna State recently raided Chief Imam Ibrahim Zubairu's herd in Gidan-Makeri, making off with 73 cows. The theft occurred around 5:33 PM on a Tuesday, with the bandits using sophisticated weaponry during the raid. Fortunately, vigilantes from Kuchimi village swiftly responded, chasing down the bandits and managing to recover the cattle before they could cross the River Gurara.

The bandits arrived, firing shots to discourage any pursuit, and targeted the specific area where the cows were kept. Despite their efforts, local vigilantes acted swiftly to intervene and reclaim the livestock. As of now, there has been no official confirmation of the incident from the Kaduna State Police Command.It was learnt that the bandits were forced to abandon the cows before crossing River Gurara, allowing the vigilantes to reclaim the animals.

As of the time of reporting, Hassan Mansur, the spokesman for the Kaduna State Police Command, has not confirmed the incident.
