In a move to ensure public safety and friendly environment within the state, the Imo State House of Assembly has asked Governor Hope Uzodinma to stop the proliferation of cooking gas outlets within residential areas.

The call was made following the adoption of the motion moved by the member representing Isiala Mbano Constituency, Samuel Ikechukwu Osuji, who informed the House that indiscriminate establishment of cooking gas outlets is posing serious threats to lives and property within residential areas.

Nigerians Must Be Safe – Tinubu Charges Army

President Bola Tinubu has charged the Nigerian Army to ensure that violent groups do not overwhelm peaceful and law abiding Nigerians.

The President equally told the Armed Forces to that Nigerians must be safe in their homes and public places.

Tinubu stated this on Saturday at grand finale of the Nigerian Army Celebration held at the 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, Rukuba, Bassa LGA of Plateau State.
