In a recent statement via his official X account, former senator Shehu Sani, who is known for his outspoken nature, has criticized the outcome of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), leaders recent meeting aimed at addressing the party ongoing internal crisis.

Recently, the People's Democratic Party (PDP), leaders gathered for an important meeting aimed at addressing the party's internal challenges.

However, instead of finding concrete solutions, the meeting ended with attempts to patch up issues without truly resolving them.

"PDP leaders met and sellotaped the problems of the party without solving it," Senator Sani wrote.

His choice of words clearly outlines the perceived inadequacy of the meeting's outcome.

Sani's statement suggests that the party leaders didn't fix the main problems but just used sellotape to temporarily fix the problem.

This implies a lack of genuine efforts to tackle the underlying issues facing the PDP.

The statement by Shehu Sani reflects a growing opinion among some party members and observers who have been voicing for a more proactive approach to address the PDP's internal crisis.

The failure to enact substantive reforms could potentially hinder the party's effectiveness and peace, especially in the run-up to future elections.

The PDP, as one of Nigeria's leading political parties, plays an important role in shaping the country's political situation.

Therefore, any shortcomings within the party have the potential to impact national governance and democracy as a whole.
