Oluwafemi Azeez delivered an exceptional individual performance to propel Millwall to a crucial 2-0 away triumph over Leeds United in the fourth round of the FA Cup, as reported by Soccernet.ng.

The talented attacker netted both goals for the visitors, guiding Millwall—currently positioned 14th in the Championship—to an unexpected yet impressive victory over the league-leading Leeds United at Elland Road.

Right from the opening minutes, Leeds United dictated the tempo of the game, dominating possession and creating multiple goal-scoring opportunities. However, despite their offensive efforts, the trio of Sam Chambers, Wilfried Gnonto, and Largie Ramazani was unable to capitalize on their chances.

Millwall made them pay for those missed opportunities when Azeez opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a breathtaking goal.

The 23-year-old forward, who was born in England to a Nigerian father and a Spanish mother, received a well-placed pass from Joe Bryan outside the penalty area. With remarkable technique, he curled a right-footed shot that took a wicked deflection, sending the ball into the right corner of the net.

That goal completely altered the dynamics of the game. Leeds responded by throwing men forward in search of an equalizer, while Millwall remained disciplined and compact, soaking up pressure and waiting for the perfect moment to launch a counterattack.

Their patience and tactical discipline paid off just ten minutes into the second half. A rapid counterattack saw Casper De Norre deliver a precise pass to Azeez, and the former Reading player displayed clinical finishing by slotting the ball home with his left foot.
