New details have just emerged about what the late Nyaga, who was burned beyond recognition in Kirinyaga County, was found holding inside his house.
As per the latest updates shared by a well-known source this hour and at the same time circulating on social media, it has been revealed that the deceased was found dead after his house caught fire. It is believed that the fire was lit by someone as his house was closed from outside.
The villagers who rushed to the deceased home tried to control the fire, but unfortunately, they did not make it.
Also, the family of the deceased has confirmed that the incident occurred because Nyaga has been having domestic violence with his wife, who is the main suspect. They have also added that, when they retrieved the body of Nyaga, they found that the deceased was trying to escape from the house because he was holding a hammer in his hand.
The local elder from the village has asked the police officers to do an investigation and take immediate action against the suspects behind the arson.
I quote some of the statement from the source: "I want to call upon security apparatus to investigate this and to ensure that Nyagah and his family get their justice because, looking at this house, even if it burns down, we are suspicious. This is because we see the place where Nyagah fell is by the door, and he had a hammer. So it is like someone who went to bed at night and another person locked from outside, and this happened," said a local elder.
